Subject: Eh
too many musicians on stage makes the music muddle and suffer. JGB girls need to go away.

Subject: great show great time
This was a sick show with great energy. The rre guys realy kicked it up a notch and gave a bluegrass feel to some of the songs that was great for dancin. The parade durring iko iko was pretty cool as well.

Subject: No way I missed this!
This show is sick. The rig PL&F is using sounds pretty good. The performance is rocking. It's nice not hearing Warren just dominating all over the place. The jamming & improve is great, and the music is still reaching to places all over the map. I'd like to see this line-up on the road!

Subject: agree
I agree - also check out some '99 with Kimock - Steve adds to some great jams to some great songs. Haynes/Herring stuff is great too - Steve just has that great light touch - like a combo of Garcia and Bill Frisell.

Subject: Good, but there's better...
There's some pretty good stuff here, but not quite like summer '02 or any of '03. Hard to beat the Herring/Haynes combo. Check out some July '02 dates like 7/30/02 or others. Bad vocals on Playin'. Not the best Phil show out there.

1.5 stars for performance, 5 stars for sound quality = 3.25 overall.
